The place for artists and hipsters, full of studios, pop-up shops, coffee shops, craft beer and the best roof terrace.
Neukölln is the district for anyone looking for a vibrant district with a raw edge. The neighbourhood is perhaps the most diverse in the city at the moment. Because the neighbourhood has been on the rise in recent years, there is still a lot of physical and creative space. The old airport is now a park, and an old village with a pretty village square is enclosed by the city. A cool rooftop bar sits atop a dull shopping centre, and there are lots of new bars and fine restaurants. Not so long ago, this was a developing neighbourhood, but by now Neukölln has become an indispensable part of Berlin's must-see list.
