- 10% platform fee on the room price

Background: Why are our fees so much lower?
Our platform fees are substantially lower than those of other booking sites, which are known to charge platform fees from 15% to 20% to their hotels and B&Bs.
However, this wasn’t always the case. They, too, charged fairer fees in the past. But as the success of booking sites increased, so did the dependency of the accommodations on these platforms. This newfound power allowed booking sites to force hotels and B&Bs to pay higher and higher fees – and they did.
Our frustration about this kind of power abuse has been one of the driving forces behind the creation of Moonback.
The same fees for every hotel
Another key element – all hotels and B&Bs pay exactly the same fee percentages. No matter if they are big or small, purple or green – accommodations cannot pay us more to get a higher ranking or to reap other benefits. On Moonback, the rules as well as the opportunities are the same for everyone.
